Young Adults Activities
This section covers additional activities for teenagers and young adults. Have a look at the cinema and bowling, and watersports sections covered elsewhere, and also the sports section. If you are looking for a particular activity ask around, Brunei runs on word of mouth!
Mountain Biking
There is an excellent mountain biking circuit in the jungle at the Berakas Forest Reserve Recreational Park. You can access this from the Highway but it also possible to cycle in from just outside Berakas Kem.
Mountain biking trails are also available at Subok Ridge and the Gurka Trail. Check them out on All Trails.
Kingdom Rides is a local bicycle repair shop who can offer bike hire and a guide should you be just starting out.
Jerudong Park
The park offers a lot of activities for little ones, but it does also have a few things of interest for young adults.
The adventure park includes opportunities for ziplining, scary drops and freefalls as well as go-karting.
In the Wonderpark you can play Laser Tag and adult Bumper cars as well as Mini Golf where you can play a 9, 18 or 27 holes.
The Big Red Warrior, also at Jerudong is a ninja warrior type plastic assault course. It’s only available for group bookings currently.
Other activities
The City Skate Park is next to the National Stadium. It is a large concrete park with plenty of obstacles to challenge skateboarders.
The Paintball Arena at the Jerudong Sports Complex offers full access to those aged 14 plus, and all the safety equipment you need.
UP Climbing is a climbing centre in Gadong which offers climbing certification courses, climbing practice and competitions.
ATV adventure tours are offered in Tutong with AVH ATV Brunei.
Karting
Pool and snooker are popular pastimes. You can find Pro-X Pool House in Gadong, M-Strike and the brand new Boss Pool House near Kiulap. Members of the Empire also have access to pool and snooker tables at the Country Club.
