Sports
The Brazilian Football Academy based at Peak Performance coaches football for children 5 years and up. They also offer football birthday parties.
Omni Sports is based at Fitness Zone has multiple sports programmes and holiday camps for children, including football, basketball, gymnastics, tennis, rock climbing and volleyball.
UP Climbing is a climbing centre that holds childrens’ sessions on a Saturday.
Swimming pools are available at the Empire, Yacht Club and Peak Performance. Please see the swimming section for info.
Kids’ Hash is held in the jungle once a week. It’s the world’s oldest kids’ hash as it’s been running since 1979! Ask a member for information on how to join.
Other activities
Aman Hills Shopping Complex offers an ice skating rink for kids with real ice.
The Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas is a riverfront park situated alongside the Brunei river. Here you can walk, or rollerblade the promenade, rent a bicycle, fly kites and make giant bubbles. Every Sunday morning the city is a car free area.
Jerudong Park is a large playground with lots of activities for children from mini golf, to bumper cars and a carousel. It also has a waterpark and a petting zoo.
At school, you child will be offered a amazing selection of after school and weekend clubs. Most sports are covered, including fencing, golf and diving as well as activities such as acting, first aid and fun with science.
If your child is too young for nursery, JIS holds a toddler group Geckos, three mornings a week during term time.
