What exactly you need depends on your Service and your sponsor will be able to provide you with more detail.

Your sponsor will take you to the tailor to get uniforms made and will take you to the respective QM to complete your ‘kitting out’. Your sponsor will also assist you in obtaining a name badge & medal ribbon bar.

Once you have obtained your songkok (hat) and shoulder boards, you will need to obtain a chit from the QM to authorise the tailor to sew rank badges/braid/cap badge onto these.
