GPs look after patients with chronic disease and common ailments such as flu and colds, antenatal and postnatal care, children’s care, vaccinations and occupational health. They are also responsible for health surveillance.

If you need to see a GP, please attend sick parade at your local Military Health Centre between 08:00 - 10:00. Our local military health centres can be found on Bolkiah Garrison and Muara Naval Base, with additional centres at Rimba Air Base, Defense Academy, Penanjong Garrison, Berakas Camp, Tutong Camp, Lumut Camp and Bangar Camp.

If you need to return to see the doctor for an ongoing complaint you will be seen after 10am. Planned medical checks are usually scheduled in the afternoons.

The Doctors who look after Loan Service are Maj Dr Raheemah, however please note that you can see any Doctor at the Health Centre.

If you need to be sent to hospital for Secondary treatment, you will only be referred to government facilities at RIPAS, PMMPMHAMPB in Tutong, Seri Suri Begawan in Belait or PIHM inTemburong. Private facilities at JPMC, Gleneagles and PJSC are available but must be referred, any self referral or inferrence will be billed at personal expense.
