Book Donation

Many of the books from the old library room upstairs have been donated to B: Read, a local non profit organisation.

B: Read distribute books to those in need as well as local schools. They also run book drives where people can swap books or adopt books.

B:Read

Aims to build a reading culture in Brunei by gathering book lovers to promote the wonders of reading to others.

Many of these books had stamps which dated them as being in the Loan Service library in 1974! It’s definitely time for some new books. Thanks to all who assisted in the moving and sorting of the books.

Please be aware that the books we have kept are in the library area of the Store /craft room at the LSCC.
